TFA TEFLON® PTFE floc fibers are available in various lengths to meet a wide variety of application needs from high surface area for compounding into plastics or thermo set resins to fibers for specialty filtration applications. The floc fibers are used for compounding to provide low wear plastics with long life for automotive, home appliance and industrial equipment applications; these same fibers are also used to manufacture high performance aerospace bearings and can be compounded into rubber to provide reduced wear against metal pulleys. Our fibers are also used for specialty filtration applications which range from the manufacturing of Caustic Soda and Chlorine gas to clean room filters. Our floc fibers are made from a unique TEFLON® PTFE dispersion which provides more consistent wear and friction properties than PTFE micro powders while providing excellent chemical and thermal resistance.
