TFA TEFLON® PTFE staple can be spun with other fibers to enhance wear, load and temperature performance. Spun blends with polyester are currently commercially available. However, blends with other fibers including but not limited to PPS, para-aramid, meta-aramid, rayon, polyester, and nylon are possible. Today’s blends are designed for use in
industrial bearing applications, with future blends being designed for new applications including
apparel,
protective apparel and
